Associate Osteopath of The Year Award – Finalist

Joel Redman was short-listed by a panel of the UK’s leading osteopaths as one of two osteopaths who were put forward as finalists for the Institute of Osteopathy‘s Associate of the Year Award.

This exciting news comes off the back of hearing that David Ruddick has also been nominated and short-listed as Principle of the Year in what is the clinic’s 40th Anniversary. These inaugural awards have been set up to recognise the hard work of the Joel Redman - osteopathosteopaths at the coal face of the profession, and are a welcome opportunity to celebrate the hard work that goes into being a part of, and running a successful practice.

Joel’s professionalism, energy, and positivity has helped him thrive as a new osteopath to our now 27 strong team of therapists. Perhaps helped by his background as an employee of Waitrose his eye for detail and ensuring all his patients feel well looked after and listened to echo some of the clinic’s core values.

Above and beyond the usual role of an associate, he has helped in other areas around the clinic from offering sound advice which has led to changes in the way we run some things, to being involved in giving presentations to local groups such as the Summertown Stars (our local football team).

Everyone at the clinic and all his patients wish him luck on 21st November 2015 when the winner will be presented with a prize at the iO gala dinner and awards ceremony.
