Aromatherapy

Aromatherapy uses essential oils, extracted from the flowers, fruit, seeds, leaves, bark or root of certain plants. These highly aromatic extracts, sometimes described as the “life-blood of the plant”, each have their own individual profile, and are used in combination with massage in an aromatherapy treatment. Following an initial consultation, a blend of essential oils is chosen specifically for you, to help address a specific condition or to help you to relax or feel re-energised.  Pure, organic vegetable oils of the highest quality are used to blend the essential oils for massage.

Reflexology

Reflexology is the application of pressure to specific points on the feet (or, less usually, the hands) which are believed to correspond to different areas, organs or systems of the body. It can be used to treat people of all ages to help restore balance and induce deep relaxation.

Indian Head Massage

A deeply relaxing and invigorating treatment which focuses on the upper back, neck, scalp and face.  Pressure can be firm or more gentle, depending on what is needed for you as an individual and the treatment is performed with you either seated or relaxing back on the massage couch, with or without oil.  Indian Head Massage may help to relieve stress, fatigue, headaches, sinus problems, tension in the jaw, eye area and in the upper body as a whole.  The result is often felt as a profound sense of calm and well-being.
