What Is Reflexology?

Reflexology's origins date back over 5000 years to the Middle and Far East. It was rediscovered in the 1930's in the USA by a physiotherapist, Eunice Ingham (the mother of Reflexology). Her nephew, Dwight Byers founded the International Institute of Reflexology (IIR), the oldest teaching institute in the west.

Reflexology is a powerful complementary medicine therapy based upon the principle that there are reflex areas in the feet and hands that correspond to all the glands, organs, and parts of the body.
