Claire Cullen Pilates

Claire Cullen - Osteopath and Pilates Instructor

As a qualified Osteopath and Pilates Instructor, I enjoy combining the two disciplines to treat musculoskeletal conditions such as back pain, neck pain, joint and muscles injuries and nerve pain. After an initial assessment which helps me give patients a diagnosis as to the cause of the complaint, I use osteopathic techniques to ease muscular, tendon and joint problems and peripheral nerve techniques to release nerve pain. I aim to give a thorough explanation of the cause and reasons behind a patients’ pain and then give Pilates based exercises to help patients further rehabilitate their condition at home.

In my practice, I treat young adults through to the elderly. I have a keen interest in treating elderly people who may need help with posture or mobility issues that are affecting their lives. I also have a keen interest in treating adults with hypermobility issues.

Just like we learn to brush our teeth everyday to take care of our teeth, so it is my belief that we also need to take care of our bodies to get the most out of it. Listening to our bodies and seeking osteopathic help when needed, allows us to live a fuller life, with more enjoyment.
