Nadine Harrison – Chiropractor
Chiropractor (MChiro DC MRCC PGCert)
Nadine is a highly qualified chiropractor with unique experience. Chiropractors assess, diagnose and treat conditions of the muscles, joints and nerves.
Nadine qualified from the Anglo European College of Chiropractic with a Masters in Chiropractic and went on to complete Post Graduate training. She sees a variety of conditions including back pain, sciatica, neck pain, headaches including migraine prevention, and joint pain including hip and knee arthritis. Nadine is happy to see people of all ages, and treatment is safe and effective for pregnant women, an area Nadine has completed further training in.
She has a special interest in working with people with persistent pain, and finds huge fulfillment in helping people overcome both the physical, and emotional challenges living with pain for a long time can bring.
Nadine has worked in other award winning private practices before joining the team at Summertown Clinic, as well as in hospitals and rural clinics whilst working with the spinal charity “World Spine Care,” which took her out to live in Botswana for over a year, as well as numerous visits to India. Ask her about some of her stories!
Nadine lives in Oxford, enjoys multi-cultural food, triathlon training and relaxing with a good book.
Nadine’s approach is one of honesty, empathy and expertise. Your aim is her aim! Most commonly people seek her help to relieve pain, move better, and get back to doing the things they love.
You can expect to be carefully listened to, receive a thorough examination and then a diagnosis. Treatments are tailored to the individual and often involve muscle release and stretching, joint mobilisation and manipulation, exercises and rehabilitative advice, and medical acupuncture. If she cannot help you, Nadine will point you in the right direction. She is happy to liase with your GP if needed, and organise XRay or MRI if required.
After her work in Botswana Nadine was delighted, and surprised to be honoured with the title of Chiropractor of the Year (2017) by the British Chiropractic Association
She has been recognised for her ability as a clinician throughout her training receiving the prize for Best Clinical Proficiency (2014) and Best Post Registration Candidate (2015).
“I was struggling with health issues but your chiropractic help and supportive listening skills really helped me graduate successfully” Miss AO, Oxford University student
“As well as fixing my body you’ve looked after my mind and soul too which has been a real gift” Mrs KG, Mother of two
