With 7 osteopaths all working at our Oxford based Clinic we are one of the largest practices in the UK. Originally set up by David and Kerry Ruddick who both qualified from the British College of Naturopathy and Osteopathy, they have been joined by their daughter, Joanna Ruddick, who trained as an osteopath at the European School of Osteopathy and is a fellow of the Sutherland College of Cranial Osteopathy, and James Ruddick who qualified from the British School of Osteopathy (now the University College of Osteopathy), and now leads the Professional and Clinical Competence unit for their 4th and 5th year masters students. Claire Cullen – who is also an osteopath and a Pilates instructor, married James Ruddick in June 2012,so the Ruddick family is the biggest osteopathic family not just in Oxford but in the whole of the UK.
More recently as a leading osteopathic practice in Oxford, we were excited to be involved in setting up a new network of osteopaths in and around Oxford (called the Oxfordshire Osteopathic Network) to help promote osteopathy in Oxfordshire and collaborate with other osteopaths. James Ruddick is the current Chairperson.
We have a wide scope of practice as each of our osteopaths offers a slightly different approach, and with each osteopath having their own specialist interests we can help tailor our treatment to our patients even more specifically.
